Skipton man Martyn Crofts, who appeared on the previous night's episode of Britain's Got Talent makes an appearance at the 2012 Skipton Waterways Festival. Martyn also announced to the crowds that he was now officially opening the Skipton Gala, which he has said was his hope after appearing on TV. He was joined by hundreds of visitors who lined the canal to witness the annual Raft Race and also to listen to live music and visit all the attractions on offer.
