Black Ice and Thick Fog in Skipton, North Yorkshire

Posted on Dec 14, 2012 by in Natural Events, News |

Black ice, thick fog and low temperatures have caused issues in and around the North Yorkshire market town of Skipton during the Friday morning rush hour. A lorry slid approximately 50 feet in to two parked cars on a cobbled street and the centre of the town was blanketed by thick fog effecting the regular street market.
